Vegas Skies was opened on June 6th, 2008, but it had been in creation for a while before that. The idea of a the Cab fansite was first thought up after I had become a Co-Web on Alder's Say Anything fansite, For The Silent. I really wanted to make a site of my own, but I didn't know what to make. Shortly after that, I found out about The Cab, and instantly fell in love with them. I decided it would be cool to make a fansite for them, because they are a fairly new band and I'm pretty sure no other fansites exist for them. (please correct me if I'm wrong)

Anyways, before I could even think about building a website, I had to get familiar with HTML and other coding languages. Before this site, I could barely even link to something in HTML, so creating a website seemed like a pretty daunting task. Thankfully, Alder was there to help me through the process.

As I continued to build and code the site with Alder's aid, I contacted Leenie, who runs Hopelessly Hopeful and asked her if she would be willing to host my site on her server. Thankfully, she agreed, and I had my own server space on which to host Vegas Skies. Shortly thereafter, the site was done and I put it online, officially joining the Infinite Alchemy family.

As I write this, the site has been open for a little over a week, and I just put up our second layout. Hopefully Vegas Skies will grow and become a big, successful fansite. For now, it's just a waiting game. Thanks for reading!
